„I became aware of Sarah through an artist-find-artist-platform.
When we first connected in February 2021, she visited me in Leipzig by train from Hanover. Originally it was planned that Sarah should perform Golden Clouds, Burning Trees – However, the recording never took place.
A few months later we met again and spent a night together in my studio, Sarah showed me some of her lyrics written on her iPhone.We philosophized hours about the profound meanings in her words and decided to set some of the works to music.
Especially Heavy Wings is memorable. The song gives an insight into Sarah’s faith and the bond with her deceased mother.“
