„My piano teacher once told me that there is no such thing as bad music, only badly played music.

We are friends to this day. The cantor of our church gave me piano lessons at the time since around 2011, but we never practiced playing the piano in the traditional way. Instead of playing from notes, our focus was on finding new melodic sequences and composing.

One of my main goals when composing is to pack a certain complexity into something that is emotionally appealing. Striving for complexity helps me go beyond technical boundaries.“
