>>Back To Berlin<< was supposed to embody my relationship with a romance in the summer of 2022. I quickly dismissed the thought because I didn’t part with her on good terms. However, I decided to recycle the cover art she designed, and so the idea of recording a new album was born.

In the winter days that soon followed, when I registered again at the University of Leipzig and had plenty of time to make music, I had the opportunity to receive an old Tanneberger piano that was out of tune and thus save it from being to become firewood. After painstaking work preparing and tuning it, the concepts for the songs Transitions, Equals, Heilig, Into The Ocean Shore and Phost emerged.“
